A surfboard isn't a product. It's an extension of the way you read a wave. So we don't build for a rack — we build for the person who's going to ride it.
It starts with who you are in the water: your height, your weight, your ability, the style you surf and the break you call home. From there, every line, rail and rocker is shaped by hand to fit one surfer. The result is a board that does exactly what you want it to do — because it was never meant for anyone else.
Four shapes.
One built for you.
Every Rebel starts from one of these blueprints, then gets dialled to your specs. Pick the shape that fits how you surf — we'll tune the rest.
How a Rebel
comes to life
A hand-shaped board moves through six unhurried stages. Time varies with the shape, the glassing and the workload — but nothing here is rushed.

A custom build runs from a few days to several weeks depending on shape, glassing and how full the bay is. You'll always get an honest timeframe for your board up front — shaped by the same hands, in the same bay, every time.
The right board
is a fit, not a size
Four things decide the shape that suits you. Get a feel for them here — then let us dial them in exactly when you brief your board.
Board shape
Fish shapes fly in small waves and quick turns. Rounded-pin and squash tails come into their own in bigger, hollower surf.
Wave conditions
Small and mushy calls for more volume and float. Larger, more powerful waves want less volume and more control underfoot.
Board size
Your weight and height set the dimensions. Bigger surfers want a wider, longer board for stability; smaller surfers can go down.
Skill level
Beginners ride longer and more stable. Intermediates loosen up on something smaller. Advanced surfers go performance for speed and response.
Fibreglass (PU)
The traditional build. A lively, predictable flex and that classic feel underfoot, with a touch more weight to drive through power. Loved by surfers who want a board that reacts the way they expect.
Epoxy (EPS)
Lighter, stronger and more buoyant. Extra float and a livelier ride make it a flyer in smaller, weaker surf, and it shrugs off dings better over a long life. We'll steer you based on your waves and style.
